Hands-on, Experiential Learning

When classroom work parallels real world experiences, students are inspired to learn not only technical skills, but also critical thinking and problem solving skills applicable to every aspect of their lives.

Emergent Needs

As new challenges and opportunities increasingly become part of the daily realities of our community, BEF has a proven model for supporting school innovation. Working with educators, we identify and pilot new ideas, then raise funds to test, refine, and scale up impactful programs to ensure students have the resources they need. This model also allows us to quickly respond to emergent needs.

We know that needs will continue to change, and BEF is ready to respond.
