Oregon Cultural Trust and the Cultural Coalition of Washington County

The Cultural Coalition of Washington County and the Oregon Cultural Trust are once again boosting the arts in Beaverton schools with a recent gift in support of the Signal to Noise Student Film Festival to be held in May. Read more for how you can double your donation to the arts when leverage a gift to BEF with a gift to the Cultural Trust.

BEF is proud to qualify as a “cultural nonprofit” with a renewed gift from the Cultural Coalition of Washington. This grant recognizes that BEF “makes culture count” through support for arts and music in our schools.

That means that when donors make a gift to BEF, they can “double their donation” to the arts when you make a matching gift to the Cultural Trust. The Cultural Tax Credit means that come tax time, you can get a 100% refund in the form of the state tax credit while a portion of your state taxes go back to fund more than 1,600 cultural organizations – like BEF!

By using the Cultural Tax Credit, Oregonians and the Cultural Trust have awarded close to $40 million, and counting, to the cultural nonprofits that define our quality of life. Join BEF by taking your support of Oregon’s arts, heritage and humanities to the next level.

And we hope to see you at the Signal 2 Noise Festival that will celebrate student filmmakers on May 7, 2026 at ACMA.
