When Montclair Elementary’s PTO voted to approve their 2026-2027 budget, it included a line item with a $5,000 expenditure to Beaverton Education Foundation. “We know we are in a fortunate position to have a healthy budget that can support all the students at our elementary school, and we wanted to do more for students beyond Montclair,” shared Montclair PTO President Hannah Omar-Bulman.
Montclair PTO’s is able to do many things to support their students and staff, including supplying school supplies for all students, providing grocery gift cards and food support for families over fall and winter break, and this recent gift to BEF to support BEF-directed initiatives throughout the 2026-27 school year.
This gift exemplifies the true spirit of the “power of partnership”, and we truly thank all the members of the Montclair PTO for recognizing that the generosity that started at Montclair will have an impact on students throughout our Beaverton schools.

It’s what motivates us to go beyond what is required, to connect with others because of our shared values, and to do more together than we ever could alone,” expressed BEF Executive Director Lauren Garrett on the arrival of this generous gift from Montclair’s PTO.
