Oregon is one of the lowest performing states in the country when it comes to the math proficiency of young elementary school students. To address this crisis, KLA Foundation is helping Beaverton elementary schools in grades K-3 with a three-year investment in getting a good start to math. With funding for creating math-rich classroom environments, providing teacher training, and adding family, at home, and summer engagement activities, we hope to boost the math achievement for 10,000 K-3 students.
