Genentech has been a long-time supporter of K-12 STEM education in Beaverton schools. Together, BEF and Genentech have helped expand access to the health and biomedical sciences and has generously invited Beaverton students to tour their facilities to learn more about becoming professional scientists. In 2025-26, grant funds will support students at the Beaverton Academy of Science and Engineering (BASE) to learn more in-depth about biomedical sciences.
