38 years of commitment to Beaverton public school student success.
The Beaverton Education Foundation was established in 1988 in response to expected changes to state school funding. Today, we support through innovative, hands-on academic programs across all 54 Beaverton public schools through tax-deductible donations from families, businesses, community members, and alumni.
Operating without public funding, BEF receives over 2,500 annual contributions to support educational programs that exceed state-mandated requirements. The foundation focuses on hands-on academic initiatives that enhance student learning beyond what standard state funding provides.
Through 2023-2024, community investment has totaled over $6.13 million, funding 3,021 educational programs and projects that would not otherwise exist. BEF serves as a vital bridge between available state resources and the comprehensive educational experiences Beaverton students need to thrive.
