BEF Answer the Call: October 7-15, 2024
The Beaverton Education Foundation annual fall fundraising campaign funds innovative academic enrichment and advancement programs for all students in Beaverton’s public schools.
Every year, over the course of two weeks, over 300 high school students volunteer their time and energy to reach nearly 20,000 community members and BEF donors during the Foundation’s annual student volunteer calling event. Students participating in Answer the Call enhance and refine communications and marketing skills during all five call nights. These practical life and work skills are a bonus that students and future employers both value.
Funds raised are invested in targeted impact areas: extended day, STEAM, art & music, career & technical education, special education, PE + Play, reading and writing benefiting K-12 students at each of Beaverton’s public schools. With your support, together we can increase access to academic innovations and enrichment opportunities, advancing educational justice in our Beaverton community.

The Beaverton Education Foundation has invested $6.13 million in programs and projects at Beaverton school’s since its inception in 1988. BEF invested $469,866 in programs and projects during the 2023-24 academic year in all 54 schools in the district. 38% of the BEF projects and programs supported schools eligible for Title 1 funding (where at least 40 percent of students are from low-income families).
