Featuring A Dynamic Member of Our Board: Olga Vargas, Vernier Science Education, Chief Marketing Officer

When Olga Vargas joined the BEF Board of Directors, we knew we hit the jackpot. Olga’s background in marketing and communications makes her an incredible asset as BEF continues to grow and make a lasting impact in our community. Olga’s past service as a board member of the Plano ISD Education Foundation in Texas also brings a unique perspective to our work in Beaverton. 

Olga’s experience as a parent in the Beaverton School District and her commitment to supporting students along their educational journey aligns perfectly with our vision, and we are excited about the strategic guidance she contributes. Olga’s energy and enthusiasm was especially valuable during our 2024 Answer The Call fundraiser when she helped our Spanish-speaking high school students build their confidence during conversations with prospective donors. She’s already starting to build ideas for new BEF events, so stay tuned for some fun and exciting opportunities ahead!
