All Beaverton School District staff members – teachers, counselors, bus drivers and specialists, are encouraged to apply.

KIDS COUNT GRANTS

Schools and programs are eligible to apply for extended school year or school day grants of up to $10,000. Requests should serve consistent student populations and provide academic and/or enrichment opportunities that improve student learning.

MIDDLE SCHOOL EXTENDED DAY GRANTS

Block grants awarded to grades 6-8th to fund before and after-school programs for tutoring, access to technology, activities, and enrichment for students, or the Safe and Sound 4 Student Success (S4) Program.

BEAVERTON’S CHOICE

All staff members are eligible to apply for crowdfunded awards supporting student-engaged projects of up to $2,500 that enrich learning and encourage classroom innovation. Matching funds are available year-round and there is no deadline to apply.

Student-Run Businesses Grants

BEF welcomes student-run businesses in Beaverton schools to submit Letters of Inquiry to support the purchase of supplies and/or small equipment. Businesses must engage students in career connected learning and provide products and services that benefit Beaverton schools and students. Interested applicants will be asked to submit a Letter of Inquiry and should your LOI be accepted you will be requested to submit a full proposal. Learn more

Extended School Day After School Grants

BEF Kids Count Grants may also be available to fund out of school time academic enrichment projects and programs during the 2024-25 school year. Interested applicants will be asked to submit a Letter of Inquiry and should your LOI be accepted you will be requested to submit a full proposal by Friday, September 6, 2024.

MIDDLE SCHOOL EXTENDED DAY / SAFE AND SOUND 4 STUDENT SUCCESS (S4) GRANTS

Middle schools may submit their individual school plan for the following school year. In September, BEF makes an award to each school based on available funds and student population. Grants can range from $5,000 to $15,000. The Safe and Sound 4 Student Success (S4) Application window is now open. Applications are accepted in the fall.

BEAVERTON’S CHOICE

We are thrilled to assist you in bringing your school or classroom projects to life.  All staff members are eligible to apply for crowdfunded awards supporting student-engaged projects that enrich learning and encourage classroom innovation.

Matching funds are available year-round and there is no deadline to apply. We offer awards of up to $2,500 throughout the year. If the cost of your project exceeds this amount, please email us.

This application consists of 15 questions and should take you approximately 15 minutes to complete. 

Please don’t worry about making it perfect because our BEF team will polish your words to make your project shine. If you are logged in to Google, your work will be saved, and you can come back and edit it whenever you like.
