The Beaverton Education Foundation supports programs and projects that enrich learning and actively engage students. All Beaverton School District staff members; teachers, counselors, bus drivers and specialists, are encouraged to apply for support. BEF strives to fund at every school and reach as many of our District’s 40,806 students as possible.
There are currently 3 kinds of grants/awards available, depending on your request, the options are a click away:
BEAVERTON’S CHOICE GRANTS:
Grants of $500-$1,000 are available for student-engaged projects that enrich learning and encourage classroom innovation in any content area. This simple online process helps individuals and businesses match up their time, resources or a tax deductible donation with specific classroom projects in Beaverton schools. Teachers, this is where you list your needs online; donors can then choose which ones grab their interest. It’s as simple as that! Learn more and apply
BEF MIDDLE SCHOOL EXTENDED DAY AWARDS:
Noncompetitive block grants awarded to middle schools to fund before and after-school programs for tutoring, access to technology, activities, and enrichment for students. Learn more and apply
